When we went to Tennessee, my parents wanted to make sure that Nolan didn't overheat or get eaten up by the chiggers waiting in the grass. I thought it would be impossible to keep him from running out into the large expanse of grass and woods surrounding their home, but they did it and Nolan quickly adapted to life in the summer in Tennessee. With the fan on hanging out on the back porch, they had a blast in the newly created sandbox.
One of the many reasons for our weekend in Tennessee was to meet Asia's baby Jack. Nolan was actually born on Asia and Krys's anniversary, and they were there for his birth, so when they were expecting their first baby around the time of our wedding anniversary, I was hoping we could be there, too. Jack was born 13 minutes before our actual anniversary, pretty amazing and a beautiful boy. Congratulations! I'll just take the opportunity to post some pictures of when Nolan was just born and brand new to the world...
