We fortunately did get to see most of the Johnson clan on a trip to Tennessee. We should hire a photographer the next time, judging by this photo and Nolan's darling expression (not that you did a bad job Grumpa!) This lovely Italian restaurant is right at some train tracks, so numerous times during the meal Nolan wanted to go outside and see if there was a train passing by. I tried to convince him that we would hear it when it came, but he was not convinced. He was brought a bowl of ice cream with a candle in it and sung happy birthday much to his delight.
