Thanksgiving was a wonderful holiday spent with Nolan's Nana and Papa, his uncles and aunts and especially his cousin! Being a month apart has it's advantages and they made great playmates. Both being two also meant they had some wonderful two-year-old attitude in common, but really I was amazed at how well they played together. Note Nolan's untouched plate... he's still a prompt 6 o'clock eater so had already eaten his dinner... no turkey for Nolan (by his own choice!)
We will look back on this picture with fondness someday, piling on top of Nana in diapers. They both were peeing on the toilet over the weekend (but not every time mind you). I think Addison inspired Nolan to try it out, and he did multiple times! Now he's let me in on his little secret, he has bladder control! Usually at home he just yells "no! no! no!" at any mention of going pee pee on the potty, but just the day before the trip we happened upon his toy monkey to go "pee" with him, but a cousin if far better peer pressure.
I think Nolan liked the beads quite a bit... when Addison was gone he wanted to put them on and there was a tug-of-war resulting in one broken string of beads.
