The nicest thing about being on vacation is not only how much I get to spend NOT working, but also how much time I get to spend with Nolan and admire his cute ways. He mastered this crank on a toy my parents had, and showed off all sorts of bright talents. He figured out where the TV and computer were, for one. He also tried to do yoga with his Grandma. On his animal toys he always has to point out where the poop comes out. He understands the concept of the sun going down now, after seeing a sunset on the plane (and he keeps talking about it). These are just some of the many things I got to enjoy by being off with my favorite little boy.
He wanted to sit down to enjoy this delicious chocolate cookie.
One cold day when I didn't feel like struggling with the mittens, I told Nolan to put his hands inside his sleeves and he now does it on his own on chilly days. This is Nolan yelling out for our friend's dogs at the top of his lungs.
