O Christmas tree

We celebrated Christmas in Tennessee this year and the timing couldn't have been better. The day we flew there the thermometer read -3 degrees Fahrenheit but the wind chill was -30. As I whisked Nolan into the car, he made these funny moaning noises which signaled to me he felt the drastic drop in temperature. We arrived safely to warmer weather, which peaked at a tropical 70 degrees.

Nolan had seen so many Christmas trees at friend's homes, that I'm sure he appreciated finally decorating one of his own. And of course the best part was that the presents under this tree were actually (mostly) his. Who knew that hooking an ornament was so difficult? But he kept trying, although he would not put down the toy.

Here is the finished project. Grandma had to grab Nolan for him to be still for this one... his energy level has made a huge leap! He is still very snuggly and gave plenty of hugs to family, but he is on the go much more quickly and enjoyed running back and forth through his grandparent's home.
