the house that Papa built

In Papa's basement, he built a great playhouse out of five large cardboard boxes. The kids wanted to go into the basement repeatedly to crawl through the house, with four rooms and a hallway. I think back on the cardboard boxes I used to play in, but this house took the prize (no offense to those who made me cardboard box houses). I even wanted to take out the crayons and draw windows and pictures on the walls... next time.

And for the record, that police car hardly left Nolan's hands the whole time. He even got to take it home with him, which John later informed me broke the rules of toys at grandparent's homes... what you play with there, stays there. Thinking back, I guess that was the case with all the books and toys I played with at my grandparents, but never thought about why. I guess we'll be shipping the police car back. Besides, all of his other toys at home have taken precedence now.
