I believe this was Nolan's first time ever on a carousel, and the best one to try out first! In Coolidge Park in Chattanooga is an incredible carousel with hand carved animals and only a dollar to ride! Nolan was a little mystified the first time, but then he wanted to ride again and one more time.
The other bonus of our visit to the park was a visit with Kristy and Anthony, who showered him with more attention and upside-down play. It's so cute to hear him say upside-down... he talks so much lately. It seemed like two word combos were the norm and now he's frequently speaking in full blown sentences! A lot of it's repeating what we say, but I must say I was smitten by his own usage of the past tense... it's hard for me to spell out what he says, because to me it's clear what word it is he's saying. Well, at least most of the time.
