a visit to our sick ward

our friends Jeff & Ginger timed their trip perfectly for some nice weather, but we all unfortunately had a bad cold while they were here. they got to enjoy Nolan a day before he got sick and crabby. Ginger and John have been friends since they were about Nolan's age, which makes it fun to think about all of Nolan's current friendships and where they might go. now, Jeff and John have been friends since college, which makes me a little more concerned about who Nolan might meet then (ha).



we went to our second Brewers baseball game, this time parking way out with the tailgaters with people gawking and teasing about Jeff's Pirates hat the whole way. Nolan & i walked a little behind, not to be seen with a fan of the opposite team. Nolan loved the game, the cheering (he's good at clapping for any excitement) and we saw fireworks twice during the game.



we ended the weekend with a great (takeout) meal outdoors. we promise we won't get sick the next time.
