after one last good play with his (Grandma's) new car, we went for a few days in Chattanooga. we've only been gone for six months and i realize Nolan was born there, but visiting this time felt like i was introducing Nolan to one of my favorite cities since i figured he may not remember it all too well...
we all had a good frolic in the city going to our favorite shops and eateries and checked out the new construction... Nolan enjoyed pushing the cart again in the newer (and huge) Greenlife grocery. we said a brief farewell to the grandparents then (Nolan was actually concerned about this) and were off to party with our friends Kate, Charles and daughter Finley, who is only seven months Nolan's senior.
Nolan got a taste for television there, something we haven't subscribed to yet in our new home with little time to watch it and persistent discussions as to where to put the TV. he also got a taste for Finley's snacks... she got used to sharing her home, toys and food. thanks Fin.
