Nolan and Riley are getting closer all the time. maybe it has something to do with Nolan feeding Riley his snacks sometimes. in this weather, anyone would want a warm dog to cuddle with and Nolan does quite often. Stella is even becoming more patient with Nolan's antics and let Nolan lay on her and even started to puppy-play with him. it was over too quickly to document, but would've been worth it as a first. unfortunately, Nolan has found a game that is testing the dogs' patience to a new degree. tail grabbing. if they're too slow, Nolan gets a firm grip and giggles with total exuberation. i once saw Stella going in a circle with Nolan keeping up behind her laughing triumphantly. we're trying to teach Nolan not to do this, but when something's so much fun, it's hard for him to get the point.
