Nolan has reached the pinnacle of toddlerdom in the just the past week I guess. I wondered when the "why" and truly stubborn qualities would begin. We now here "whyyyy?" to everything we say repeatedly until our powers of explanation are exhausted and all your sometimes left with is "just because."
Also, I love hearing, "Imma do it!!!!" There's also other favorites of mine, "I can do it all by myself!" and "It's MY turn to feed the dogs!" All of these strong statements of independence are at the top of his voice and so serious. Before he would ask for help with many things, but all of a sudden he wants to show me how he can try at least by himself.
