I think Nolan could deal with having a pool in his backyard. The first day we enjoyed in Florida he wanted to jump in, but it was dinner time so he happily settled for sticking his feet in it. He hadn't wanted to wear shorts or a tee shirt the whole time, but when it was time to swim he eagerly stripped down and put on the swim shorts! The floating toy was great to get him adjusted to the pool and he could kick himself around, but he got into being tossed around in the water later. Nolan got to have a few swim lessons at the end of last summer with a neighbor teaching, but he told me he's ready for more lessons.
