This picture makes me laugh every time at his expression. He now has a great deal of interest in music and can sing along to several songs. With me he will sing the alphabet, row your boat, London bridge, twinkle twinkle little star just to name a few of the classics. With his dad, he's learned to sing "Dear Prudence" by the Beatles quite well along with some others of their tunes. Also, he can sing some songs by The Who. This is no surprise since that is what Nolan hears around the house and we did have a song by The Who played at our wedding on flute & violin.
Nolan has another sweet friend now, with whom he got to eat pizza and then play at home with. They were pretty active but I caught them briefly reading Tootle the Train.
An update on the big boy bed adventure, Nolan did not nap for three days only and then magically returned to napping in his open bed, daily. He's not too much trouble to put to bed with the same bedtime routines in place, but we did add one. I have a book to be read by flashlight that we enjoy before he lays down that is an absolute must before he will sleep.
