sidecar dream come true

John's always wanted a sidecar for a motorcycle, so he's been drooling over this bike sidecar (much more practical) and no salesperson or online bike forum was going to talk him out of it. there were concerns about it's handling, but for non-bike enthusiasts like us who just want to ride around the neighborhood, to eat dinner and go to the co-op, it's perfect! (plus the handling is awesome!) and this satiates John's desire for the sidecar. and Nolan loves it! we had some friends over for lunch who also tested it out with their kids and Nolan actually cried as he watched his buddy take off in HIS sidecar. he's not so keen or aware about sharing yet... he got over it when Sawyer let him ride his big wheels with the automatic push button motor... he didn't get the idea of holding the button down to keep going, so in the spurts of starting and stopping i hope he didn't give himself whiplash. the kids then had a thrilling time digging to the bottom of the sandpit. i guess we need to get some appropriate shovels and toys.
