fun with "eeya"

Nolan has a familiar babble "eeya" he does all the time. I am trying to let him know that "eeya" is his friend, too, as in Giya. we went and ate dinner with Giya's parents this weekend and the two got to play. as usual, Nolan took his time warming up. he always is reserved whenever we visit homes with children. he watches them interact and play, and then after an hour or so jumps in full force. he was chasing her around and over the furniture before the night was through. as is typical, he did find toy cars there and held onto them most of the night. he's showing his picky side of eating, too, now. he would not touch the potatoes, but craisins were good. there's the added factor of fun before food when you're with friends.

here Nolan is making mouth noises with his hand, if you couldn't tell.

the steps were a big hit as well... Nolan was still raving about the evening in the car ride home, practically yelling out his babbles and then fell asleep in mid-babble. he was still saying "eeya" but whether he caught on... we'll see the next time.
