we went to California! that place so mythological and crazy to me. see here the palm trees to prove we were in L.A. as Nolan is held by one of our hosts there, Andrew. Nolan did excellent on the two leg flight... the real test was would he sleep as if on Eastern time... yes. he hit the sack 7:30 Cali time and woke at 4 AM there... over the trip he gradually adjusted to the new time zone, but thankfully here back in Chattanooga it's only taken two nights to get back in our time zone (bed tonight at 9! yay!)
Nolan's second pool experience was much better... it was cold but he got used to it this time and got a real kick out of floating... his swim diaper was full of air and quite bouyant.
he also had a pleasant experience with cat... it usually stayed far far away.
as we were leaving L.A. Nolan was just being held by Andrew and quietly went to sleep as we were talking. a real crazy thing for those who know how Nolan resists sleep.
