We were fortunate enough to have company for Easter weekend, an old friend from when we lived in Johnson City, Tennessee. So that meant we had an extra person to decorate and hide eggs! Nolan first had an Easter egg hunt in Florida during a couple of rainy days there, but I informed him this was the real holiday. We bought the traditional PAAS egg dye and quickly reeducated ourselves on the process. Nolan loved watching the tablets dissolve and dipping an egg in each color. We then took to double and triple dipping in the colors. We had of course a few plastic eggs we filled with candy. M&Ms have been Nolan's favorite for so long but recently he discovered at a party sour candy and is in love, so he got a nice medley.

After finding them all, Nolan wanted to inspect his eggs and laid them in a "nest" he called it.

He made sure to eat all the candies, and he is in mid-chew on a sour one here.... We then went inside and all had fun eating the hard boiled eggs.
