who's flying now

Nolan was a bit mystified by our first warm days in Milwaukee. He wouldn't leave the house without a coat, gloves and hat. John even caught him at school on the playground with a coat and hat while other kids were running around like it's summer. After a couple days straight with weather in the 70s and even 80s he got the idea. Warm can happen. Of course today we're back in the 30s and it's snowing, but such is life. I marveled at the way Nolan would ask (or just state), "It's warm outside?!?" On a really nice Wednesday morning he and I headed to the playground after my doctor's appointment for the whole pregnancy thing. He loved this curvy crazy ladder last year and quickly got climbing again for the highest slides and then proceeded to "teach" every other kid how to do it.

At the beginning of that warm day I asked him which type of weather he preferred, cold & snowy or warm & sunny. He then said cold & snowy. At the end of our morning together he changed his mind!
