We had a fantastic spell of Springtime weather at the beginning of April before it became more seasonably chilly again. We started working in the garden getting it ready and spent most the day outside. Since then Nolan will actually complain about the cold and not wanting to put his coat back on, but begrudgingly asking for his hat and mittens if truly needed.

While I started to clean up the flower patches, Nolan decided to go digging for worms. It was his idea entirely and he took my little shovel and picked out a spot he thought best. Presto! Just like magic he found tons of earthworms. I was impressed and made a little home for them in what will be our vegetable garden. I guess Nolan just had to prove he was all boy. I later got him his own shovel, but he would still take my kneeling pad to go to work for days. I've always laughed at the kneeling pads, but my pregnant self is enjoying it.
