Today we had a block party on our street and we rented a bouncer for the kids to go crazy in! It certainly was a hit since they were in there almost the whole afternoon. It was not empty pretty much from 2 PM until about 7 or so. I would think that after bouncing for so long the solid ground would feel odd. The kids also did enjoy the free range of the street with tricycles, bicycles and (toy) lawn mowers. We all enjoyed a great deal of good food, drinks and conversation. The kids were so busy I personally felt like I could make some conversation at least. Nolan really needed his nap today, so I had to wake him up. He was seeming pretty groggy so I started to tell him his friends were outside. That got him at least up and into my lap. Then I told him there was a bouncy house outside and he jumped out of my lap and headed downstairs saying he wanted to go outside! He did go directly into the bouncer, only to realize he wasn't fully awake and couldn't get his footing. He then waited for a time when only 2 and 3 year olds were in there to try it again and had a blast.
A neighbor made this divine multiple layered jello treat! It took about nine hours to make and worth it!
I'm glad Nolan's gotten to try out a Sit 'n Spin. I remember those...
