Nolan loves to draw, or "mark" and "dot dot" and he will sometimes also call it. He has pictures that his babysitter drew with him and he will come by occasionally and then tell me about her drawings. He now has drawings by his Aunt Emily to remember, too, or as he will sometimes still call her "beautiful Emily" since I called her that at her wedding. No day is complete without drawing, and it seems that's the way it should be.
Of note, I have found out how sensitive John is towards his son. As I tell stories about many (not all) of Nolan's adventures, John is quite concerned I don't embarrass the boy. That includes discussing his all natural speech impediment. I think it's sweet of John, but I think it's sweeter how Nolan says draw... I guess Nolan will have to outgrow it someday but oh how I enjoy listening to him learn how to talk!
