so we have sadly left Chattanooga. we had a wonderful three years there, and Nolan has had a wonderful life there. we've made so many friends there and then of course they got even more attached to Nolan than us... so it's a crime to take him away really. we will visit often. here's one of Nolan's moments in post-dinner play. he doesn't need toys to make him happy. just his trusty shampoo bottle and baby jar cap. the shampoo bottle goes everywhere with him.
it took a long time to load up our stuff. the movers were done at 8 PM. so we headed to my folks and the Johnson GPs took us in gladly. Grumpa here is trying valiantly to keep Nolan away from a life on coffee. glasses and mugs are another favorite now of the boy. he tries out the tones he can make and likes to dip his hand in the liquid contents (which i only permit if it's water).
Nolan got to luxuriate nearly naked with his grandparents. we cleaned him up well after the hot muggy moving day. Tennessee really pulled out all the stops on the heat and humidity this last week.
