so we finally can walk through our new home. our stuff arrived on the 8th and it was a sea of boxes for a while. thankfully Nolan's Lewis GPs arrived to help unpack and especially play with hime while we tried to sort through the mess. it's a cute place full of knobs, hinges and all sorts of things Nolan has taken interest in.

he's got another excuse not to crawl now... he'd rather walk. it used to be he'd rather roll over, then he'd rather sit up but now he sticks his hand out for your finger and takes you all over the place, sometimes in a circle. sometimes he'll get to a spot he wants to be and then gets frustrated because the knob he wants is too high. he throws a small fit if you don't pick him up to play with the knob, lightswitch or whatever item it may be. it's already a battle of the wills. as my family would say, he's showing his Bass. Judy confirmed this isn't a Lewis thing as far as her kids were...

everyone is adjusting real well, dogs included. we've met a lot of our neighbors (an advantage to moving in the summer, everyone's out). there's a block party in a couple weeks on our block so i imagine we'll meet the rest... there are a ton of kids, big dogs and swell folks here. i think we'll get by, but we definitely miss our TN buds.
