laugh-o-rama

last night we had a visit from Nolan's adopted aunt Kristi and he had a big surprise in store for us... we've heard him laugh before, usually kind of a "huh-ha huh-ha" in a Grandmaster Flash sort of way from the Message. but he went ca-razy last night. we were laughing about something (like perhaps how we were feeding our guest left-overs) and Nolan joined in and joined in LOUD. he squealed with joy multiple times and kept on with the loud laughter. my uncle Charles said it's a Navajo tradition that whoever makes a baby truly laugh the first time has to throw a party. so next time we need a party for Nolan i know who to tap... you can't really tell from the last pic, but that's Nolan laughing with all his might.

some nice little landmarks... he took a nap in the crib without being swaddled (usually he'll only nap in the swing)... so here's the future of him sleeping at night unswaddled. he's trying to vibrate his lips and blow bubbles... and some not-so-fabulous news... he's found something that he'd rather do than eat. watch television. for the past few days if i'm nursing him near the TV, he'll stop eating, turn his head and just stare at the TV. it's impossible to get him to eat again without turning it off. he loves the moving image just like his dad i guess.
