it's been a busier (and sleepier) than usual week for me. it began with a visit with my Uncle Edwin & Aunt Karen here in Chattanooga... Nolan showed off his solo standing on a couch to them... of course you can tell John wasn't far.
then there was a speaking engagement where i had been invited to the Perspectives lecture series at UTC. the widow of the man who initiated the series years ago said to me she had no idea i would be so young... but that seemed to be what they wanted to hear about... my life as a young (almost 30) doctor and my misadventures with baby and before baby. they made sure i brought Nolan (& John). on the way Nolan pooped the biggest (or at least messiest) poop of his life so we had to change his clothes and were of course late for the pre-lecture lunch... the other guests thought that would be perfect to include in my talk... it was great to see many of my college professors & introduce them to my family.
Nolan did sleep 7.5 hours one night this week, and the others at least about 6... the late night meetings may have finally gotten to me this week as every day i have considered picking up a morning coffee habit. he always sweetly sleeping as i leave for work... a nice image to start the day with.

Hope you're not feeding him Lou Zone's famous spinach sandwiches. If so, maybe that explains the giant poops?
Coffee habit? Do it! French Roast - made strong. You won't be disappointed.
