The past two winters have certainly been cold enough but this was the first winter that we stepped out onto the ice. I don't think that I actually believed it before, but John reassured me that it was truly frozen and then seeing hockey players out on the bigger pond convinced me. Nolan was thrilled and has asked to go back several times (and we have) to walk on the frozen pond. Finding ice skates for his small feet will be a big challenge though.
