i've been trying to post pictures of our recent adventures but it turns out there are some technical issues with blogger, so you can imagine along to the stories and i'll be posting pictures ASAP.
something i forgot to mention a few weeks ago was how tired i was... usually at night if Nolan wakes up John will bring him to me. one night i was so tired Nolan's grunts over the intercom didn't wake me up, but instead i was saying "shhh, shhh" in my sleep. at least he's got two people listening for him at night.
so Nolan had a wonderful visit with his Lewis grandparents. it was supposed to take place in Florida, but because we have so much work to do on out house in order to sell it we all had to visit in Tennessee. we just wanted help watching Nolan, but we also got a ton of help from Nana and Papa Lewis on the house. we're now ahead of schedule and so grateful. it's sad uprooting again, but we've got until August at least.
Nolan is getting super strong now and showing hints of the mobility ahead. when he wants to he can roll over and over stomach to back. now he's rolling to his side and arching his back as much as he can and almost rolls from back to stomach. he obviously wants to move because he cries out in frustration when something is just out of reach. he's also become very "grabby." you cannot drink while holding him because he will enthusiastically go for your beverage... his whole body quivers and goes for it. i thought it was just drinks he went for but he's starting to grab for anything. it's the incredible frenzied enthusiasm that makes us laugh... between his jumping for things and our laughing at it, i hope we don't drop him!
