milwaukee

we have had a quiet weekend at home thanks to the fact that we have accepted a job offer in Milwaukee for me through the National Health Service Corps. we were supposed to leave this weekend for North Carolina for two job interviews, but the two places were just declared this month as not underserved enough for me to work in. it so happened i was looking for an excuse not to make the trek since we seemed to believe that Milwaukee was the best place overall for us, and fate stepped in. it's a half day's drive to John's parents from Milwaukee, but we'll miss the Johnson GPs and will have to spend our vacations making it up and likely some weekends, too.

Nolan is fitting into some of his clothes for 3-6 months which is very exciting since that opens up a whole new collection of cute clothes. and all the more for John to experiment with color combinations. after my last blog showing his funny choices, he dressed Nolan in an outfit that matched too well... i was disappointed! hopefully he'll feel disinhibited by the new outfits available now...
