i've tried to figure out if all the noises Nolan makes are peculiar to him or if it's something all babies do... you don't rea;ize what babies are capable of until you've been around one 24/7. maybe the noises themselves aren't just his to claim, but the sheer quantity of them is definitely part of his personality. this morning he laid in his crib and stretched and grunted about it for over an hour. he was asleep just talking away. while he's feeding he's extremely playful, whether it's the breast or the bottle, and talks the whole time usually. his cooing noises are becoming more frequent now and are so precious...
he's going to be a social active person it seems... he has his baby friends (and John & i have benefitted from the parental support). whenever people visit he's so intrigued in them and stares at the strange faces (and is usually well behaved for them... saving his crying for us). Asia came back to visit a couple weeks ago, not having seen him since he was born. she got to be there with John and my parents for his birthday.

Nolan is so cute with his friends. I love seeing how social he and his baby friends are! I wonder what they talk about together.
