I had thought I'd wait until Nico was six months old to give her a taste of cereal, but she has seemed so desperately hungry as of late I began to change my mind. Tonight it was particularly obvious how hungry she was, so tonight was her first night of food! It's amazing how quickly she adapted to it. The first bite resulted in a puzzled look but the next one she leapt at! It didn't take her too many bites to figure out how keep the most possible in her mouth. The bib was a total mess by all means, but she did a great job of sucking it down.
This all reminds me of course of sweet Nolan's
first bites.
The bib was a mystery to her toward the end when her appetite had mellowed. She kept pulling it over her face and trying to eat it. She had the hugest smile when I took it off and gave it to her, thrashing it around victoriously.
