It was at about this age Nolan discovered this little toy piano and now it (along with all of Nolan's other baby toys) is a favorite of Nico's. I love seeing her eyes light up at the sight of it, and now with her rapidly developing torso strength she twists her whole self to it. Nolan's moved on to other musical instruments like his washboard and ukulele. He carries his portable CD player with his personal CDs and plays along with them or just sits listening to them intensely. Occasionally he'll dance wildly in circles to the tunes. He has Fox & Branch (a fantastic duo from Milwaukee) and They Might Be Giants in constant rotation. I love it for the calming focus it brings. Rather than tearing through the house from one game to another toy he will just sit (or dance) to music forever.
