We wish we could travel more, but we settled on an overnight trip to Madison with a side trip the first day to House on the Rock and the next day to the Forevertron. We just about made every mistake you could on a family vacation, including my fantastic bungle of getting us directions to the entirely wrong city. But in the end we did have a fantastic trip and had a great time at the House on the Rock. I don't know how to describe the place, so just treat yourself someday.
