Nolan a year ago hanging out late one night almost exactly a year ago...
and then this weekend. i just happened across the old picture and it's nice to see Nolan with some more hair... albeit not much. Krys and Asia were visiting this Mother's Day weekend which added to the festiveness. i haven't been going out much since we moved to Milwaukee and John & i certainly don't go out together enough, so this weekend gave opportunity for it all. one night it was Roots with the girls, then the Lake Park Bistro with an excellent view of the lake and finally a night out for John & i to see some music... and be totally deafened by it. i don't think i've seen a loud rockin' show since i had Nolan and my ears are still ringing...
we went to Milwaukee Art Museum again and it seems to always bring out Nolan's curiosity and energy. there was another exhibit which basically was a dark room with glowing jump ropes hanging down in a grid formation. i thought it would freak Nolan out, but instead he was running around the room in the dark and making all the other onlookers laugh.
