i've gotten some choice pictures that captured the mood and activities of Nolan's birthday. funny looks with cousin Addison, feeding cake to his dad and another big event, walking.
he needs to work on his strength and balance a little bit, but this boy's about to take off. just in the past couple days he started walking to things, not necessarily mom or some other warm inviting open pair of hands. tonight he teased John & i by walking toward me, psych! then to dad, double psych! then back around to the baby gate. he thought this was terribly funny as both of us had our arms out for him and he just kept going. of course the distance he walked was about ten feet in a circle, but a marathon in baby feet. crawling and mom's hands are still the preferred means of travel.
