Our sweet sweet girl just got sweeter! We had a double celebration with the first in Springfield, IL with John's family and then at our home on her actual birthday, August 7th. For a while now she has been a growler, so our "growly girl" got a lion cake with blue eyes like her. It was chocolate of course because that's the only kind of cake I know how to make. It was a splendid family affair, with old friends Cove & Lorraine with their daughter Elizabeth.
She kind of has a dazed ecstasy in her eyes munching on cupcake. The whole day I didn't want to pause to take a picture because the moment was so sweet!
