This weekend we went to the birthday party of a little girl turning two. Nolan adores her and has requested that she come over to play trains once. The fact he actually wanted to share his beloved trains with someone says a lot. (A recently constructed train layout is here for added emphasis.) So at the party the oldest kid, who is four, was rolling about on a child's car and was getting quite close to the birthday girl. Nolan jumps in between and says, "Don't hit her!" Let me say, that she was in no danger truly, but catching that moment was pretty funny.
