Kids eagerly awaiting food from Honeypie last weekend.
It's been a cool summer, but satisfactory and a warm September has really made it end nicely. I worry a little about Nolan's summertime routines dropping out one by one, but we'll just do those indoor things we've been avoiding all summer. The Tuesday night music in the park is over, and by October we will be missing our Saturday mornings at the lake for the farmer's market. We go religiously on our bikes arriving "late" usually at 10 AM. John does most of the shopping while Nolan & I meander and maybe get a sweet treat, smoothie or popcorn from the kettle corn cowboy. There is always music, but we usually skip it for the best playground in town and a walk on the beach and more recently the docks, too. Nolan loves watching the boats come and go and all the birds paddling through the water. It's such a great way to begin your weekend.
