It's been a blur lately, and now with a moment of calm, I'm trying not to freak out. We now own two homes which confuses Nolan a little bit, at least the parts he understands. He knows that we're moving and that the sign in front of our house here in Milwaukee means something. He periodically will ask, "Is this still our house?" and now even will ask about his friends like, "Is this still Annabelle's house?" He's made it clear that he wants to stay here, but he also wants to be in Nashville. He's completely ready to give up his bed (so he thinks) so we can turn in back into a crib, because then he knows that he gets a bunk bed.
He wonders why his little sister won't come out and I am, too, now of course. When someone asked him recently who was in my belly, he said, "A poopy baby!" This may be because poop jokes are still king around here, but also because we've been telling him the baby will cry, eat, sleep and then poop all day long. He continues to impress us with his performances for other people's babies. The other day in the park he entertained a year old baby with crazy dances and songs consisting of weird noises. I think the baby was laughing so hard it could've pooped in it's pants. (The poop jokes are becoming contagious.) Nolan's typically curious, gentle and puts on a good show... but that's for other people's babies. I can't wait to see what he'll do at home.
