We had a lovely visit with my parents last weekend, and they were subjected to all sorts of toddler games. Nolan is now into follow the leader in a serious way and it was played out all over the city. He lined us all up with the command, "Closer! No, closer!" at the playground, in the backyard and even in a store. He insisted that his grandparents and I follow him through all the elements of the playground, and despite my dad's better judgement that he might break the slide he followed through anyways, slide intact. Apparently, Nolan may rival or at least equal me in bossiness at this age, which gave my parents much cause for laughter at my own predicament.
